There was a villain Montres/or,

Who led Fortunato to the door.

He built the wall,

So hard and tall,

And let him die for good and all.

Montresor was the evil-doer.

His heart was ridden by allure.

With wine and hype,

He plotted death:

Let Fortunato meet his rest!
